　  On Sep. 1st, 2012, the second academic committee conference of Interdisciplinary Research Division of Economics and Finance (IRDEF) was held. Yan Jiaan, the academic committee director of the IRDEF, hosted the conference.

　  Wang Shouyang, the director of the IRDEF, reported the major progresses in 2011 and the future development programs to the academic committee. Six major research achievements, such as monitoring the macro economic and policy simulation platform research, were reported in the conference. These achievements would provide important basis and support for government decision-making.

　  The conference was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The broad and in-depth exchange of views on the conference will make a great influence on the development of the IRDEF and closer cooperation between academic and industry.
