　  On June 7th, 2012, the first session academic committee of NCMIS held the second conference in Beijing. More than 30 persons attended the conference, including the committees of NCMIS, the leaders of the research projects and Liu Minghua, director of the bureau of basic science Chinese academy of science. The conference was hosted by academician  Yang Lo.

　　Guo Lei, director of NCMIS, made a general report of the running conditions of NCMIS. He also gave many constructive suggestions on research promotion of the NCMIS. Six representatives of the research projects reported their research progress as well.

　  The work of NCMIS is highly appreciated by director Liu Minghua. “As an important part of the innovation 2020 of CAS, NCMIS has heavy responsibilities. NCMIS should consider how to take the advantage of math by mechanism innovation.” He said.
