Prof. HONG Yiguang Elected as an IEEE Fellow

Prof. HONG Yiguang was elected as an IEEE Fellow for contributions to nonsmooth control and distributed multi-agent control.

Prof. HONG Yiguang received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Peking University, and his Ph.D. degree from Institute of Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is the director of Key Lab of Systems & Control, CAS, and the director of Information Technology Division of National Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences, CAS. His research interests include multi-agent systems and control, distributed optimization and games, social networks and social learning, nonlinear systems and control, automata and autonomous systems, smart grid, software reliability, etc. He was honored with the Youth Award for Science and Technology of China in 2006, the Distinguished Youth Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007, the Best Theoretical Paper Award of ICARCV in 2012, and so on.
